Dr. Jonathan Frame

Jonathan is a Senior Hydrologist with an interest in all aspects of the global water cycle, but is currently focused on computational modeling of surface water dynamics. He received his BS from California State University, Monterey Bay (Environmental Science), his MS from University of California, Irvine (Civil Engineering) and his PhD from the University of Alabama (Geology) where he researched physics-informed machine learning techniques for operational flood forecasting, and applied his research directly to the U.S. National Water Model. Prior to joining Floodbase Jonathan worked as a water resources engineer and hydrologist in the non-profit, consulting and government sectors. Jonathan is a licensed Professional Engineer in California.
