Nick Leach
Machine Learning Engineer
Nick Leach is a Machine Learning Engineer at Floodbase. He works on the development of flood analysis tools and methods using both passive and active satellite sensors. He has a Master of Science in Forestry and Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of British Columbia. Prior to joining Floodbase, he worked on mapping abiotic forest disturbances in both tropical and temperate forests, as well as the development of high spatiotemporal resolution change detection and normalization methods for satellite imagery.
He is the author of numerous academic papers.
