Meital Hoffman

Meital is a Remote Sensing Analyst at Floodbase. She uses advanced data analysis to transform satellite and modeled data into actionable insights on flood impacts. Meital plays an important role in supporting parametric insurance policies, bridging the gap between cutting-edge research and real-world customer solutions. She holds both a Master’s degree in City Planning and Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning and Computer Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Prior to joining Floodbase, Meital led geospatial analysis for climate vulnerability and adaptation planning at AECOM. She is passionate about leveraging data to better prepare for and respond to climate-related impacts.
